365 Days With You Week 19

Paisley's First Year

Our New Fridge

We got a new fridge and I LOVE IT!

Ryan said I wasn't allowed to put up anything on the fridge. I don't know who he thought he was taking to so I showed him who was the boss. While Ryan was up stairs I did this.

 I was going to cover the whole side but I ran out of magnets.

For the sake of our marriage I decided to calm it down a little and make it look like this.

Paisley is ONE

Oh my goodness. I cannot believe our baby girl is one; time sure has flown by. The night before her birthday I let her stay up late because I couldn't believe it was her last night of being a baby. I'll admit I was a bit emotional about it. Paisley's birthday party wasn't till the following weekend but I was still wanting to do something for her actual birthday. Ryan had to work so my parents came out and we celebrated Paisley and my dad's birthday together at the Rain Forest Cafe. Thanks to my friend Paulina for mentioning that place, Paisley loved it! Anyone with little ones totally needs to go there. While we were waiting for our food, my mom was walking Paisley around and was saying "what's that what's that" to everything they saw and when they came back Paisley kept saying (what we thought was) "what's that, what's that, what's that" (with a lisp). To this day she still says it to anything that is new and interesting to her. 

Paisley is now.....

• Has four teeth on top and two on the bottom
• Waves for both hello and goodbye
• Says Mama and Dada ( I hear her say other words but they aren't consistent so I don't necessarily count them)
• Loves animals (chickens, dogs, cats, horses)
• Still taking two naps a day 
• She still thinks she is a dog. Anything Khloe and Coco does, she does it too. 
• Can go up and DOWN the stairs YIKES
• Can get off of the bed. ( I am really surprised how well she does this because I though this is something that she would learn around 18 months)
• Only eats real food unless it is a fruit pouch. 
• Loves pasta and banana
• Favorite shows are Signing Time, Mickey Mouse Club House, Doc McStuffins, Chuggington, and Jake and the Neverland Pirates

I am so sad to see this year go by so fast. But at least I know there will be many more years to come. I hope she will continue to be healthy and happy. Ryan and I sure are blessed to have such a great baby.

It's pretty much impossible to get a decient picture of Paisley anymore, which is also why my 365 Days With You pictures are taking so long for me to post.

365 Days With You Week 18

Marking Her Territory

The other day I was letting Paisley get some air, and well apparently she got too much air because she peed all over the fireplace. The next day she did it again but upstairs. From now on if she is diaper less she will be outside.

11 Months Old

YIKES. I can't believe next month my baby will be ONE.....

Has an obsession with rocks and balls

Loves to be outside and playing with her dogs

Refuses to eat anything from "her" spoon, will only eat from my fork or her hands.

This was the hardest month trying to get her pictures. I actually had to take these pictures twice because I didn't like how the first ones turned out. She wanted to be everywhere but where I was wanting her to sit. I finally gave her my lens cap to keep her in one place. 

Mother's Day

For Mother's day we went out to breakfast at Egg Works (my new favorite place). My parents had stayed the night that weekend so I was able to talk them into staying one more night so we go all go to breakfast together.

For Mother's Day Ryan and Paisley spoiled me with a new lens for my camera!!! I was super excited, I had been wanting a new lens for a while.

Shooting Range

Last month Ryan and I went to a shooting range. This was my first time at a shooting range. When we walked into the range I couldn't stop jumping.  Every time a gun was fired I got so scared I would jump. Needless to say I was not going to be the first one to shoot.  I had to get use to all of the sounds before I held a gun in my hand. When it was finally my turn, I kicked some trash. Ryan wanted me to shoot Gloria's gun (.38 Special) which he said was a gun a lot of women carry in their purse but I told Ryan I wanted to see him shoot it first so I could see how much it kicked.  After seeing him shoot it I said, "screw that, give me the 22." I did some serious damage with that .22. When we got home I showed my parents our targets and they thought my targets were Ryan's because they were so good.

So when the time comes that zombies and aliens take over the world, you can all come to my house and I'll protect you.

YARD SALE

I have been wanting to do a yard sale FOREVER. Ryan didn't think I would make any money. The first day I made a whopping $350, on Sunday I made $100.
