Vroom Vroom

Well ever since my brothers and I graduated my parents have gone crazy and bought themselves Harley's. They are so into riding that they got the whole neighborhood to get bikes. Every weekend they take the back roads through the Valley of Fire to the Indian Reservation. This time around I decided to tag along with them. The ride was fine accept for the vibrations which made me itch just about the whole time, I just about itched all my skin off. I must say you could defiantly pick out the odd ball, which was me. Everyone was dressed in leathers accept me. The only leathers I had on were my ballet flats and they were even real leather, so I told my dad he has to buy me an outfit and a helmet so I can look cool like them.

Mother Daughter Date

Saturday night my mom and I went on a mother daughter date with my very good friend Rachel and her mom Donna. Rachel is such a sweet heart, she makes me want to be a better person every time I am with her. Her mom Donna, well lets just say she is the life of the party, there is never a dull moment when Donna is in the room.

The last time we all went to the movies together was when War of Worlds (with Dakota Fanning and Tom Cruise) came out, so we were much needed for a night out on the town with one another. We first went to dinner at some Mexican restaurant we was delicious. Then we headed over to the movie theater where we went to see Letters To Juliet. OMG this movie was so dang cute!!! I can't wait till it comes out on video, it's a must buy. I can't wait for the next time that we get together.

Euphoria with Cam

Ryan's sister Camryn is going to school at Euphoria for aesthetics. Last Saturday I went in and she gave me a wonderful facial and she put some individual fake eye lashes on. I loved it so much I went back this past Saturday and she gave me a hand and eye treatment, fake eye lashes, and she also did my make-up. She did such a great job. I am so proud of her, she graduates in a couple of weeks.

What A Week

This week has been just about the worst week of my life. Started the week of with finding out that one of my teachers gave me a "D" in the class when I should have gotten a "B". So I called her up and lets just say I was not nice to her. Ever since the first day of class she hasn't liked me, I don't know maybe because I was the only blonde, who knows... In order for me to get the grade I deserved I had to go all the way to the Cheyenne campus and show her all of my work. I am so mad at that teacher she is ridiculous. She wouldn't accept of of my things because she said I was late turning it in, when I really wasn't (she just hates me) so I ended up with a "C" in the class. I really don't care I am just glad to be done with that teacher.

Then there was today..... I had to go to the dentist to get some work done on my tooth. Ryan decided to tell me that I was getting a shot. Well, if you know me I HATE SHOTS. I started to cry before I even got in there. The lady tried to make me feel better by asking me if I have ever had my ears pierced. I was like ya 7 times.... It's not the same, I can handle those kinds of needles just not the shots needles. I don't know why I am so terrified of them, I just am.

I remember when I got my kindergarten shots I had to have my bishop hold me down as well as four other MEN one on each arm and leg. Then, once in high school Sarah was such a good friend to go with me to get my booster shot and I was crying before I got into the building and the lady was like I'm glad you came when all the kids weren't here, you would have scared them. Then there was this one time when I actually had to go by myself when I was getting my food handlers card for work, I cried once more and the nurse was so nice she gave me a sticker and a lollie-pop. Ahhhh, all of those great memories, I swear they haunt me.

I don't know why I bring Ryan with me I think he gets a kick out of watching my get shots because he laughs every time. I don't know what I am going to do when I get prego.... Maybe we will just adopt haha

Here is a picture after I got my shot. so sad.....

Safty First

YEA!!!!
I have a bike to ride!!!
I have been wanting a bike for quite some time now, so I decided to bikenap Ryan's bike that he used on his mission. All we had to do was air up the tires and get me a helmet. Man, helmets are so expensive they run anywhere from $40.00-$150.00; I got the $40.00 one lol. By our house there is lake that I always jog around with the dogs so I decided to ride my bike around it too. I had such a great time, it beats jogging any day. I cant wait to ride tomorrow :) now that its getting hot I can work on my tan, which is deeply needed.

Food...

Tonight we stayed home and cooked some yummy chicken, potatoes, and broccoli. The best fun and the best food comes from when you don't have a recipe and just start adding stuff together till you've got something you like. The first sauce we created consisted of white wine, brown sugar, fresh parsley, cilantro, and rosemary. The second sauce was a mixture of soy sauce, sherry, and brown sugar. And the third and final sauce was soy sauce, brown sugar, water, and pineapple juice with the pineapple chunks.

The potatoes (which we've cooked before) were amazing! You take boiled creamer potatoes and let them cool off. Once they are cooled off, you flatten them with the palm of your hand and then let them cool some more. In a frying pan you cook up some fresh bacon and chopped onions. Once the bacon is cooked, remove the bacon and the onion bits but leave all the oil and grease. Then take your flattened potatoes and cook them in the bacon fat!! Nothing is better than potatoes cooked in bacon fat with the taste of onion!!

SLC and P-Town

This past weekend we spent some much needed vacation time in Utah! We started out by heading up to SLC to see Jeneil and Aaron. We kicked it all off with some pimpin burgers and cheese filled peppers! If you've never had a cheese filled pepper, make some! We spent the evening talking and having a good time while Des spent majority of that time rubbing Jeneil's pregnant belly. Jeneil was pressured over and over again by Des to go jogging, do jumping jacks, eat spicy Mexican food, ANYTHING to make her pop while we were there. Some would say Des is a little baby crazy. Saturday morning we all woke up and headed to a little place at the edge of liberty park called The Park Cafe. This place is our new favorite stop to get breakfast and it blows Eggs In The City away!
After saying bye to Jeneil and Aaron, we headed to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple for the sealing of Arden and Torie. This is one of the newest temples in the church and is absolutely beautiful. I think I was most impressed by the temples grounds. The temple sits high on a hill overlooking the whole valley with lots of grass and flowers decorating the grounds. We were blessed to be able to attend the sealing and the spirit was so strong as they were sealed for time and all eternity. After the sealing, we took pictures, headed to Provo for some Noodles & Company, and then checked into our hotel. Dinner and the reception were at the Skyroom inside the Wilk center at BYU. The food was great and the reception was a blast. It was great to see all the old roomies and spend time with them and the bride and groom.
After the reception, we headed over to Christian and Rach's house. We went to the mall and hit Red Robin for some food and drinks. Christian and I talked about law school while Rachel and Des talked about babies, and nothing else but babies! After that, we went to their house to play games, one was called Guillotine and the other was the dice game from Pirates of the Caribbean's movie. These games were totally cool! It's sad to see Christian and Rachel leave since they are headed off to Cincinnati for Law School in July. But luckily, planes fly from Vegas to Cincinnati!!!
On the way back, we stopped in Beaver to see grandma Jackie's grave. It has been years since I have stopped there to see grandma. Her headstone and the surrounding area looks great! It was so nice to see all of the flowers that had been placed there for Mother's Day.
Well that is it for now, our next vacation.....camping in Zion's. So stay tuned......
