Fair

Paisley had a fun time at the Clark County Fair...... or not lol. she hated the horse ride and the rides. but her and my dad had a fun bonding moment trying to catch a fish. She didn't catch on but at the end she got a fish stamp and she would show it to me and then say, " look mommy, I fought a fish!!!!"

I Don't Know What To DO

Me being selfish I want my dogs to come with us to Minnesota. But when I really think about it I don't think it is the right thing to do. Right now we live in a house with a beautiful back yard. They have a doggy door and can come and go as they please. We are moving into an apartment. Some of the places do have dog parks at their locations so then I say to my self well that will be ok.... Pugs do not do well in cold weather so I really worry about that. I am not someone that gets an animal and puts them up on craig's list when they are no longer wanted. I had separation anxiety when I gave my fish tank to a friend for crying out loud, so you can only imagine how hard this is for me with dogs that we have had before we even got married.

I know this sounds crazy but if I had it my way I would have an interview process, check out their house and require updates for the first year or two or three.  Just kidding but no really... I want them to be able to relax and know that they are in good hands. I just seriously don't know what do do.

Any input would be much appreciated, especially from people that live or have lived if FREEZING climates. Even if you think I shouldn't take them I need to hear it.

Roller Skates!

Since we are moving to Minnesota we wanted to get some fun things that we can do as a family. We bought some skates and with our taxes we hope to buy some bikes. Paisley does much better when she is with Ryan on her skates (no surprise there). I love how she looks with all of her gear on :)

Doctor Doctor Tell Me Some News.

No I am NOT PREGNANT...
Just wanted to say that first.

Went to the GYNO today to get my "yearly" check (I am so bad I haven't been since right before I got pregnant with Paisley). I have a new doctor and I absolutely love him. He is awesome!!!! I was talking to him about trying to get pregnant and just telling him that we aren't really having any luck.

(Back story history)
After I found out I was pregnant with Paisley I soon found out that I had ovarian cyst. I remember that day like it was yesterday. I was sitting in the Target parking lot and I called my doctor because I was having the worst pain you can imagine in my lower pelvic region. The doctor told me to go to the emergency room and get an ultrasound STAT. I had no idea what STAT meant so I started to freak out.  Also, this was the night we were going to tell my parents that they were going to be grandparents. I was a mess I went home sobbing took a bath and waited for Ryan to come home. I tried to pull myself together before my parents got there because I didn't want them to know what was going on until we knew what was happening. Well, that didn't last long I started balling and went back upstairs and while I was up there Ryan told my parents what was going on. Ryan and I went to the emergency room to get the ultrasound. omg that was horrible. I totally thought I was having a miscarriage because the ultrasound tech was so quiet and I remember her leaving the room and then someone else came back in and looked at me and then the doctor came in and told me I had ovarian cysts. He said that it shouldn't be anything to worry about and that they should just go away all on their own. Looking back at some of my old posts I had written about having that pain throughout my whole pregnancy.... fast forward to today I am still having those pains. Some days I don't feel it at all and then other days it is so painful. I think the best way to describe it is a stingray stabbing its stinger in you and shocking you.

I gave my doctor my history and he said have you heard of PCOS and I was like ya. He started to ask me some more questions and after my exam he said, " well I can't confirm it now but it sounds like you do have PCOS. Surprisingly I handled that pretty well, not sure if its because I played doctor and did some research on my symptoms and kinda already knew that was a possibility. He said I will need to do an ultrasound and some blood work to confirm it. In the next couple of weeks (trying to switch insurances so i can stop paying cash) I will go get a ultrasound and figure it all out.. There are other factors that make Ryan and I having a baby a little more difficult but Im not going to get into that. Next month the doctor is going to put me on some medication to help regulate my cycle which should make me ovulate when I should.

I am so happy that I found a doctor that I am comfortable with. I know I will get pregnant, I just hope it is sooner than later.

Paisley update

Just want to jot down some things Paisley has been doing/saying lately :)

1. She is in the "MINE" stage. If you touch anything she doesn't want you to touch she says, No, mine!"
example: She was going potty and Khloe (our dog) was next to her and she started yelling,' No KHLOE, my poo poo pa doops." lol
or another example that happened right after. Paisley got up and started to walk away from the potty and Khloe was sniffing her and she yelled," No Khloe, my bum bum." haha got to laugh. The ones I hate the most is when she is saying it with the iPad or phone or anything like that.

2. When I fake cry she says," Mommy are you ok?, don't cry." then she hugs me, pats my back and goes shhhh shhhhh shhhhhh...... so sweet

3. Loves Word World, Sophia the First, Signing Time, Mickey Mouse

4. Is such a good girl during bed time. We really have a routine down that doesn't involve me falling asleep with her.

5. Love watching Christmas Light Music Shows on the houses. Her Favorite is "This is Halloween" and "What Does a Fox Say"

6. will push the suri button on my phone and say, " call mom" hahahahahah to call MY mom.

7. She is very sensitive. She is always wanting me to play with her. And oh how I would love to play with her every minute of the day some days it's not possible. That is why one of my New Years resolutions will come in handy. I want to set certain hours of the day just for Paisley and keep my editing and blogging time more for when she is in bed or eating.

8. every time she sees something (clothing item) in a store she say," oh, that is so cute!" hahaha omg this cracks me up mainly because her voice is so stink in cute! I really need to video record her doing this.

9. Loves going to the "Play Gym" for the longest time she would freak out. I started to go to a different location and ever since then she has been great! I bribe the workers and bring them cookies and donuts ever 2 weeks. hahah so of course Paisley is now their favorite.

Circus

I was kinda on the fence about going to the circus You always hear stories about how circus animals are abused and what not. When we walked into the arena you were able to go to the ground floor and ride the ponies, camels and the elephants. I love elephants so went over to their area first. We didn't ride any of the animals so we just watched them going around in circles. Im not going to lie it was so sad. The elephants look into your eyes and you feel like they are trying to tell you something. One looked really old. She was moving at a much slower pace than the other three. I wanted to set her free. We were all told to take our seats. We sat right in the middle because we wanted to see everything. I was happy that they didn't use the animals as much as I was expecting them too. There were more people acts and then animals acts here and there. The thing that kinda really mad me feel the way I feel about the circus now, was the dog act. It was so much fun and so cute. They were all wagging their tails and you could tail they were having fun until one of the dogs missed the jump and his tail went straight under his legs and his head went down. To me that means that he felt that he was going to be hit for not making the jump. I would just really hope that non of those animals were treated unfairly. I think circuses are fun and I know Paisley loved it especially the part when the morticycles came out and were doing all sorts of crazy jumps. But as for me that will probably be my last time going to the circus. Ok I lied now going back and looking at photos I forgot that Paisley rode the Pony when it was over. She hated it, which I was kinda shocked because she loves horses.

Gym

Today was my first day back at the gym in two weeks. I was sick and then it was Christmas and then I was sick again, so today I finally went back. I was doing so good with working out; I was working out 4-6 times a week. I am really wanting to get back into that routine. So this morning I scheduled an appointment with my personal trainer and guess what happened...... I FAINTED... like totally passed out. I was so embarrassed. Last thing I remember was saying I need to take a break I feel like I am going to pass out. Then I was leaning against my machine and last thing I knew I was on the floor and I heard my trainer saying something. When I realized what happened I was like," OMG did I just pass out?" Oh ya then on my car ride home I threw up.... YUCK... All I have to say to that is I hope I lost some weight haha. OMG seriously so embarrassing.

Happy New Year!!!

Started my new year off hiking with some friends. We had so much fun. The weather this winter has seriously been so beautiful. These are the type of things that I know I am really going to miss when we move. We hiked the 6 tunnels by Lake Mead. Well I guess we only hiked 4. We had to turn back because I thought my dogs were going to die. When we got home we all took a BIG NAP :)
